At the end of October, Eel Costello curated A Queer Show in Forum Gallery on Cranbrook’s campus centering queer students’ work. Barker featured the beginning of the installation now titled Drifting in My Mind, comprised of small pieces of notebook paper sewn together into a long strand. The paper spells out a poem she wrote about loneliness and connection.
